Vhi price and benefit changes - 28 February 2024

Price changes

On 28 February 2024, Vhi will change the price of the following plans:

• ProvidentCare (increasing from €1,499.60 to €1,695.05)
• ProvidentCare Plus (increasing from €2,955.72 to €3,318.63)

Benefit changes

On 28 February 2024, Vhi will make the following benefit changes:

ProvidentCare

• Prescriptions benefit (€25 per visit; four visits per renewal year) no longer subject to the annual excess of €100

ProvidentCare Plus

• Reduction to excess for private accommodation in high-tech hospitals (Mater Private Dublin and Blackrock Clinic) – excess is now €125 per nights private accommodation
• Prescriptions benefit (€40 per visit; six visits per renewal year) no longer subject to the annual excess of €100
• Increase to hearing aid benefit – now covered at €600 in each four-year period
