Price changes

On 1 August 2024, Vhi will make prices changes to the following plans:

• PMI 29 12
• PMI 07 10
• PMI 14 10

Benefit changes

On 1 August 2024, Vhi will make benefit changes to the following plans:

PMI 29 12

• Removal of Day care and Side-room excess in Private Hospitals (including Mater Private Dublin and the Blackrock Clinic) for specified orthopaedic & ophthalmic procedures.
• Removal of excess for Level 1 Approved Day hospitals & Centres for specified orthopaedic & ophthalmic procedures (excess still applies to General procedures)
• Day to Day section excess increased to €50 (was €1)
• Inclusion of €40 per visit monetary cap to the GP visit benefit. Now covered at 50% cover up to €40 per visit
• Inclusion of €125 per visit monetary cap to the Consultation visit benefit. Now covered at 50% cover up to €125 per visit
• Inclusion of €45 per visit monetary cap to the Complimentary Therapy benefits (Chiropodists/Podiatrists, Dietitians, Occupational therapists, Speech therapists, Orthoptists). Now covered at 50% up to €45 per visit
• Inclusion of €30 per visit monetary cap and 12 combined visits limit to the Alternative Therapy benefits (Acupuncturists, Chiropractors, Osteopaths, Physical therapists, Reflexologists). Now covered at 50% up to €30 per visit; 12 combined visits.

New Plan

On 1 August 2024, Vhi will launch on new plan called PMI 54 10
