Irish Life Health price updates, benefit changes & new plan announcement 01.01.2021
Irish Life Health have announced the launch of two new plans:
BeneFit Access 300
BeneFit Access 500
BeneFit Access 300 (€907 per adult, €227 per child) provides cover for a semi-private room in private hospitals and the Beacon Hospital with a €300 inpatient excess per claim and a €2,000 co-payment on certain cardiac and orthopaedic procedures. Day Case cover is provided in private hospitals and the Beacon Hospital with a €125 excess per claim and a €2,000 co-payment on certain cardiac procedures. It also offers up to €125 cash back on a range of 5 health and lifestyle benefits including dietician/nutritionist consultations, life coaching session, fitness wearables, sports club /gym membership / classes and sports massage.
BeneFit Access 500 (€830 per adult, €206.30 per child) provides cover for a semi-private room in private hospitals and the Beacon Hospital with a €500 inpatient excess per claim and a €2,000 co-payment on certain cardiac and orthopaedic procedures. Day Case cover is provided in private hospitals and the Beacon Hospital with a €125 excess per claim and a €2,000 co-payment on certain cardiac procedures. It also offers up to €100 cash back on a range of 5 health and lifestyle benefits including dietician/nutritionist consultations, life coaching session, fitness wearables, sports club / gym membership / classes and sports massage.
Irish Life Health will carry out a price adjustment across 9 plans effective from 1st January. A full breakdown of these rates are included in the attached pricing sheet. The rates will apply to new and renewing members from this date. Irish Life Health reserve the right to apply or remove the discretionary group discount as noted in the rate sheet.
Irish Life Health will make a number of benefit changes across all hospital plans from 1st January. These changes will apply to new and renewing members from 1st January. In addition, Irish Life Health will also enhance its “Back Up” service to new and existing members on all hospital plans with effect from 1st January.
