Irish Life Health have announced the following changes from 01.10.21:
Price changes will take place across a number of plans effective from 1st October. A full breakdown of these rates are outlined in the attached sheet
The rates will apply to new and renewing members from this date. Irish Life Health reserve the right to apply or remove the discretionary group discount as noted in the rate sheet.
Irish Life Health will also make a number of benefit changes across its product suite from 1st October. These changes include the removal of the term “Clinical” from its “Clinical Psychologist” benefit making it more accessible for members. The new “Psychologist” benefit covers a ‘Psychologist’ who is a chartered member of either the Irish Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy or a member of the Psychological Society of Ireland. The benefit name has been updated on Tables of Cover and the monetary benefits have not changed. These changes will apply to new and renewing members from 1st October.
Separately, Irish Life Health will enhance the terms and conditions of both its Gender Reassignment benefit and its Overseas benefits. From 1st October, Irish Life Health will extend coverage under its Gender Reassignment benefit from the EEA to Worldwide. This change will apply to new and renewing members from this date. In addition, Irish Life Health will extend coverage under its Overseas benefits by removing exclusion of cover for travel to a country in which the Irish Department of Foreign Affairs has recommended that you should avoid non-essential travel, in scenarios where a member’s journey is essential. Evidence of why a members journey is essential will be required. This change will apply to new, renewing and existing members from 1st October.
